WHAT WE DO…
We provide lots of support to our teachers, staff, students and parents. PTA enjoys a great deal of support from those individuals as well. In short, we have a wonderful working relationship that we work very hard to continue each year. As a volunteer, you can read to students with our “Reading is Fundamental” program, help in the lunch room, provide support for one of our “specials” teachers (Art, Music or P.E.), volunteer at the Springfield PTA Clothing Bank or help with one of our service projects such as Fall Festival or Book Fair. Many of these volunteer positions require a small amount of time and do not have to be done on a regular basis. In the last couple of years, we’ve made improvements to the facilities by painting the office, purchasing a new refrigerator for the teachers, and upgrading
security with the purchase of cameras.
